JN Photography was founded in 2015 by husband and wife duo Jess and Nathan. Nathan started his photography journey in 2006 with a small Nikon Coolpix and steadily upgraded to his current choice, the Canon 6DII. Jess remains an active mother and leader in the community. The mission of JNP is to “Capture Life” in an affordable fashion without upselling and charging ridiculous fees to our clients. Our clients put bread on our table and we believe in treating them with the utmost respect.
JNP donates to several charities including the Brightwell’s Mill Restoration Project in Amherst County, The Lynchburg Humane Society, St. Jude’s Children Research Foundation, and the Wounded Warrior Project. But our proudest partnership is with the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Greater Virginia where we volunteer and serve with our photography services.
In 2019 we initiated the JAR Grant in memory of one of our greatest friends, James Anthony Ratcliff. This grant allows the financially struggling to afford professional photography services at little or no cost. You can find out more about the JAR Grant by clicking here.
